Assessment of the immune status of women after ablative fractional laser photothermolysis procedure for the correct of involutional facial skin changes

Introduction . Ablative fractional laser photothermolysis (A-FLPh), used for rejuvenation of aging skin, is based on its controlled damage. Factors the immune system are involved in reparative regeneration processes triggered, which, turn, also subject to age-related remodeling or immunostaining. The aim work was evaluate dynamics response A-FLPh procedure performed correction age-associated facial skin changes. Materials and methods study included 25 women aged 42 55 years who underwent treatment with an Erbium laser. number leukocytes, monocytes, neutrophils, lymphocytes, T-lymphocytes, T-helpers, cytotoxic T-cells, regulatory NKT-lymphocytes, NK-lymphocytes were counted peripheral blood before, 8th 24th after procedure. We studied phagocytic function neutrophils NBT-reducing lysosomal activity neutrophils; determined amount IgA, IgM, IgG, IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, circulating complexes (CIC). Results On day A-FLPh, monocytes phagocytosis, IL-6 IL-8 levels significantly increased; parallel, CD11b+ NK-lymphocytes, IL-10 concentrations decreased. day, quantitative functional indices total IgA IgG had no reliable difference from pre-procedure values, parameters remained higher, while NKT-lymphocytes contrary, lower than initial level. Discussion revealed changes systemic immunity testify both direct regulatory-modulatory influence factors repair Conclusion induces a cellular humoral system, predominantly innate immunity.
